STEM Student Planner Monthly Themes

Success by Design, Inc., proudly presents our STEM Student PlannersTM. A great deal of time and effort has gone into developing this planner line – at a time when science, technology, engineering, and math are growing increasingly important to both the individual and society. It is our hope to inspire today’s youth toward the pursuit of careers in these influential fields.

Along with the organizational benefits they provide, these unique planners offer STEM-centered weekly topics related to an overall monthly theme. In the primary and elementary levels, we focus on more basic, broader monthly themes, while those in the middle and high planners present the most job opportunities and up-and-coming STEM-related careers.

As many aspects of art and design are influenced by science, technology, engineering, and math, we’ve dedicated the month of August to these areas to help students make this connection.

Primary and Elementary Levels:

  • August – Art
  • September – Construction

  • January – Life Science

  • March – Nutrition
  • April – Nature

  • June – Communications

Middle and High Levels:

  • August – Art

Each of the monthly themes was carefully chosen based upon its connection to STEM and matched with a coinciding monthly occurrence. For instance, the theme of “Art” in August matches up with Artist Appreciation Month, while October’s theme of “Energy” compliments Energy Action Month also occurring then.

Filled with STEM-related facts and questions, our primary and elementary planners aim to light a spark for these subjects within young minds. Middle/jr. high students will gain knowledge of STEM-related innovations and careers. Finally, those in high school will receive more detailed insight into 48 different STEM career possibilities.

With the 2020-2021 school year marking the fourth year of our STEM Student Planner line, we welcome suggestions from educators. We wish to provide the best product possible. Each year the planners will be updated to reflect the latest achievements in science, technology, engineering, and math. We at Success by Design enthusiastically offer this educational resource to today’s youth – the next generation to advance STEM and, in turn, open the doors to a better future for all of us.
